Hi,
Have just started a Spotify Premium trial for 1 month, and installed the Spotty 2.7.4 plug-in (LMS is running on an RPi2, under pCP 4.1.0 - LMS version is 7.9.2 from November 2018).
I can play-back on mobile devices, and through Chromecast, but having problems with lots of re-buffering on Squeezebox Boom. A "top" on the LMS server shows the cpu is maxed-out, with a lame process taking ~90 % of the cpu, and 1 or 2 spotty-hf processes taking most of the rest. I was a bit surprised that the Ogg 320 kb/s was being converted to MP3. Is there another setting or plug-in I need to support Ogg directly?
Advanced > File Types shows the selected decoder for Ogg Vorbis as "Native". The Spotty entry shows Flac (disabled), MP3 (spotty-hf/lame), and PCM (spotty-hf).
I guess the other option is that my Raspberry Pi2 is running out of steam/resources for this.
Any thoughts or pointers would be welcome.
Thanks in advance/paul

Code:
320kbps CBR, Ogg Vorbis (Spotify) (Converted to MP3)
