Orange Squeeze no player connected to mysqueezebox.com

This may not be a specific issue with Orange Squeeze but I was not sure where to post this thread - hope here is ok. :)

I have the following:

SBT.

LMS running on laptop.

Galaxy Tab 3 tablet.

BT Home Hub.

I have just purchased Orange Squeeze for my tablet and it is a sexy little app.

I do have what I think is a problem and I have spent hours trying to sort it to no avail - maybe you can help?

With my laptop off I can access mysqueezebox.com from my SBT via the touchscreen.

I am unable to do perform this function from Orange Squeeze. If I attempt to login to mysqueezebox.com on Orange Squeeze (in the switch server function) I receive a message that "no player is connected to mysqueezebox.com".

I would really like to control radio output from my Orange Squeeze app even when my laptop is off. Try as I might I cannot make this happen.

Any help appreciated - even if someone tells me that Orange Squeeze is only designed to work with LMS running on eg laptop/NAS etc.
